Celine Mariotti, Author
Born in Derby, CT, and a lifelong resident of Shelton, CT. Celine is a graduate of Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT where she majored in Business Administration with a minor in English. Since a child, she always loved to write and when she was a senior in High School she began sending her work to publishers. Her first poem appeared in Night Roses in 1991, and her second poem appeared in Green’s Magazine of Canada in 1991. Since then her work has appeared in many literary magazines around the USA and even in India, Australia, England and Scotland. Early Bird Publications of India published a primary textbook of essays on the Presidents.
Rock Village Publishing of Massachusetts published her first children’s book, Olivia MacAllister, Who Are You?. Magbooks of Hong Kong published Celine’s e-book Leapy the Frog. Leapy the Frog is no longer available.

Celine now has another publisher, Clayborn Press of Arizona and he has accepted two of her young adult books, “I’m Too Young to be President” and “Alexander, My Angel”. As of December 2017, Clayborn Press has published “I’m Too Young to be President” as both an e-book and a print book.
Celine has a third publisher, Alban Lake Publishing of Iowa who have accepted two of her science fiction books, “Atomic Soldiers” and “Out There in Space”. Alban Lake Publishing has published “Atomic Soldiers”.
Her poem “The Long Aftermath” was published by Goose River Press in their 2011 Anthology. Her poem “The Immigrants” was published in the 2012 Goose River Press Anthology. Her other poem “Happiness” was published in the 2014 Goose River Press Anthology. Her short story “They Called Him Up Yonder” was published in the 2015 Goose River Press Anthology. Her poem entitled “Soldier of the Vietnam War” was published in the 2016 Goose River Press Anthology. Her story “Things I Remember About Nonie and Grandpa” was accepted for publication in the 2017 Goose River Press Anthology. Celine’s poem “Vegas Forever” was accepted for publication in the 2018 Goose River Press Anthology.
She also wrote a column for The Children’s Magazine of India in which she tells the children all about America.
A long-time fan of Tom Jones, on more than occasion, he read one of her poems out loud to an audience twice in Atlantic City and twice in Las Vegas. She also plays the guitar and the banjo. She has her own home business, CRM Enterprises. Celine loves to watch soap operas and she loves Las Vegas. Celine is a big fan of the New York Giants and she collects Teddy Bears. Celine resides with her family in Shelton, CT.
